How to add tracking numbers in bulk in Wix Stores (import a CSV)
You have a carrier CSV with fifty tracking numbers and Wix wants them one order at a time. Here is what Wix’s own order page can and cannot do, checked against its help center, and one way to do it from a file.

Short answer
- Wix adds a tracking number from the order page, one order at a time. Open the order, click Add Tracking No, enter the number, pick a carrier, optionally add a tracking URL and tick the email box, then apply *1.
- Wix says you cannot add a tracking number when updating multiple orders at once *1.
- If a shipping app such as Shippo handles your shipping, the app updates the tracking numbers for you *1.
- If your tracking numbers come from a carrier or label CSV, an import app can match them to orders by order number. The app below does that.
The Wix way, one order at a time
In the dashboard open the Orders tab and the order, click Add Tracking No, enter the number and choose a carrier in the Shipping Carrier dropdown. A carrier that is not in the list can be added from the same dropdown. A tracking URL is optional, and the Send shipping confirmation email box is yours to tick or not *1. Menu names change, so check them in your own dashboard.
Where it stops (my reading)
- Fifty orders means fifty trips through that dialog. Wix states that multiple orders cannot be updated at once *1.
- The article I read does not mention importing tracking numbers from a file.
- A shipping app removes the typing, but only if you ship through that app. A number that came from a carrier’s own CSV still has to be entered by hand.
Doing it from a CSV: Bulk Tracking Import
One option, since we make it: Bulk Tracking Import is a Wix app that reads a CSV with an order number and a tracking number (the carrier column is optional, but a row with no carrier is blocked until you choose one carrier for the whole file in the app), and marks the matching Wix Stores orders as fulfilled with that tracking.
- Upload the file. The app finds the order number, tracking number and carrier columns from the headers of common carrier exports (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, Royal Mail, Canada Post, Japan Post, Yamato, Sagawa). If two columns fit equally well it picks none and asks you to choose.
- Check the matches. Orders are matched by Wix order number. A preview shows each row as ready or with its problem, and counts matched rows, problem rows and orders that will update. Cancelled, unapproved and already fulfilled orders are skipped; partly fulfilled orders are left out unless you include them.
- Dry run. Nothing changes. It tells you how many orders would be marked as fulfilled, and you have to run it before you can apply.
- Apply. Orders go to Wix in chunks of 100, and a result CSV covers every row of the file.
Carriers. Wix has six predefined carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, Canada Post, Hermes) whose tracking link Wix generates. For any other carrier the app sends the carrier name and its own tracking link, or the custom name and link you give.
Customer email. The app sends no email. Wix may send its own shipping email when tracking is added, depending on your Wix Stores email settings, with no per-import switch, so look at your notification settings first. Wix hands the whole order to the app, but names, addresses and emails are not used or stored; the app keeps no names, addresses or emails. It stores a monthly usage counter and, on Pro, saved column mappings and a history of order numbers and tracking numbers.
Free and Pro
- Free: 20 orders a month per site, the month counted in UTC. If a file has more ready orders than the allowance left, only the first ones are sent and the rest are left out: with 50 ready orders in a fresh month, 20 are sent and 30 are left out. Dry runs do not count.
- Pro, $3.99 a month: no limit, saved column mappings, and a history of your latest 20 imports.
This page and the app are not affiliated with Wix; Wix screen names can change.
Questions
Can I add tracking numbers to many Wix orders at once?
Not on Wix’s own order page. Wix’s help center says you cannot add a tracking number when updating multiple orders at once. A shipping app such as Shippo can update them, or an import app can do it from a CSV.
Can I import tracking numbers from a CSV in Wix Stores?
The help article I read does not describe a tracking import. An app can read a carrier CSV with an order number, a tracking number and a carrier and send them to Wix.
Does the app email my customers?
No, the app sends no email. Wix may send its own shipping email when tracking is added, depending on your Wix Stores email settings. There is no per-import switch, so check your notification settings before a big import.
Which carriers work?
Wix has six predefined carriers: FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, Canada Post and Hermes, and it makes the tracking link. Any other carrier is sent as a custom name, with a tracking link where one is known.
What does it cost?
Free covers 20 orders a month per site (the month is counted in UTC). Pro is $3.99 a month with no limit, saved column mappings and the history of your latest 20 imports.
