In four lines

  1. The problemA caterer, a door team and a venue each need a different view of the same guest list, and one long export means deleting columns and re-sorting rows for every event.
  2. Where it livesA page of its own in your site dashboard, opened from the app.
  3. What it doesChoose an event, load the guests, tick the columns, and optionally filter, sort and group them. Then download a CSV or print a sign-in sheet (Pro).
  4. The resultA list with exactly the columns one person needs, in the order you set, or a sheet to tick at the door.

Who it is for

How it works in 3 steps

  1. Choose the event and load the guests. Pick an event from the list. Choose whether to include ticket holders and RSVPs, ticket buyers only, or both.
  2. Tick the columns. Standard columns and your registration questions are listed in two groups. Use the arrows to change the order. Filter to attending guests, search, sort, and group by ticket type or by the answer to a question.
  3. Download or print. A preview shows the first rows; the CSV holds all of them. Print gives a sign-in sheet (Pro plan).

How do I choose the columns and print a check-in list?

The guest list has to end up in a spreadsheet or on paper for someone else, with only the columns that person needs. In this app it is the same short route for both.

  1. Open the app and choose the event. Press Load guests.
  2. Tick the columns. Take name, ticket and the head count from the standard group, add any of your own registration questions, which are listed under “Your registration questions” and each become a column, and set the order with the arrows.
  3. For a spreadsheet, press Download CSV. The file opens in Excel or Google Sheets, and Japanese text and accents display correctly.
  4. For paper, press Print (Pro plan). Group by ticket type first if the door team checks people in by ticket. The sheet has a blank box in front of each row, repeats the header on every page and shows the total number of people.

If an event shows “No custom questions found”, it has no custom registration questions to list.

What it does

Column picker

Standard columns are name, first name, last name, email, phone, address, event, guest type, attendance, ticket, ticket number, order number, order status, checked in, registered and people (plus-ones included). Each of your own registration questions can be a column too.

Filter, sort and group

Show attending guests only, or all. Search by name, email or phone. Sort by name, last name or registration date. Group by ticket type or by the answer to a question; each group has a subtotal of guests and people.

Column templates

The free plan keeps 1 template, Pro up to 50. Save the columns you picked under a name, such as “Caterer list”, and apply it to any event. Because the same question has a different internal name on another event, it is matched by key first, then by label. A question the other event does not have is dropped.

Print sheet (Pro)

A sign-in sheet with a blank box in front of each row, the header repeated on every page, group and subtotal rows if you grouped, and the total number of people with plus-ones included.

What it can and cannot do

  • It reads the guest list and does not change guests, orders or tickets.
  • A ticket buyer who is also a holder can appear twice if you choose both; the option says so.
  • The CSV neutralises cells that start with a formula character, so guest-typed answers do not run as formulas in a spreadsheet. Phone numbers that start with + are kept as text, so they show as typed.
  • If a very long list stops early, the screen says how many guests it reached.
  • It stores your column templates only. Guest names, emails and answers are used on screen and in the file you download, not kept by the app.
  • The screen is in Japanese and English, with light and dark modes.
  • The free plan lists the first 50 guests of an event; Pro lists up to 20,000.
  • It needs Wix Events.

Questions

How do I choose which columns to export from a Wix Events guest list?

Open Guest List Builder, choose the event, load the guests and tick the columns you want, including any of your own registration questions. Reorder them with the arrows, then download the CSV.

How do I print a check-in list?

Pick the columns, optionally group by ticket type, and press Print. Printing is on the Pro plan. The sheet has a blank box in front of each row and repeats the header on every page.

Can I reuse a column choice on another event?

Yes. Save the columns as a template and apply it to any event. A question is matched by its key first, then by its label.

Does the app keep my guest data?

No. Guests are read when you load them. Only your saved column templates are stored.
