Wix inventory reorder list: find what to restock
Wix tells you what is in stock. It does not hand you a list of what to buy from whom. This is a practical way to make that list from your own store data, with a spreadsheet and about ten minutes.
Listing on the Wix App Market

Short answer
- Wix has no reorder-list report. The closest built-in tools are the Analytics Low Inventory report (items expected to run out within 14 days) and Inventory Planning (when items are predicted to run out). Wix says you can export reports [1].
- For a list that follows your rules, export the products (up to 5,000 rows per CSV file [4], one row per variant [2]), keep the rows at or below your reorder point, and calculate order = restock-to minus on-hand, never below 0.
- A reorder point is normal use during the supplier’s lead time plus a safety stock [3].
- Never re-import the sheet you worked in. Wix marks blank inventory cells as out of stock on import [2].
The whole method
Step 0: look at the built-in report first
In your dashboard open All Reports and go to the Stores section. Low Inventory lists the items expected to run out of stock in the next 14 days, and you can change the time period with the filter. Inventory Planning shows when items are predicted to run out [1]. This is a forecast from Wix, not a rule of yours. It does not know your supplier or your minimum order, so most shops still build a list in a sheet.
Step 1: export the products
- In the dashboard go to Store Products, click More Actions, then Import, then Export Products [2]. Another Help article gives a shorter path: select the products in the Product tab, then More Actions and Export [4].
- The file is a CSV, with up to 5,000 rows per file. Digital products cannot be exported [4].
- The inventory column is the product or variant amount. It holds a number, or the words IN_STOCK or OUT_OF_STOCK, and products with options have one row per variant [2].
Products without a quantity (status only) show IN_STOCK or OUT_OF_STOCK, not a number. Handle them by hand: there is nothing to compare to a reorder point [5].
Step 2: set the rule for each product
Add three columns to the sheet. They are yours, Wix does not have them.
| Column | What it is | How to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier | Who you order this from | Name only. It lets you send each supplier its own list. |
| Reorder at | The stock level at which you order | Normal use during the supplier’s lead time, plus a safety stock [3]. |
| Restock to | The stock you want after the order arrives | Enough for the next cycle, within what you can store and pay for. |
Example: a roast sells 3 a day and the supplier takes 7 days to deliver, so use during the lead time is 3 × 7 = 21. Add a safety stock of 6. Reorder at 27. If you want 45 on the shelf after the delivery, restock to 45.
Step 3: filter and count
Say columns A to G are Supplier, Product, Variant, On hand, Reorder at, Restock to and Order. In the Order column:
G2: =IF(D2<=E2, MAX(0, F2-D2), 0)
If On hand (D) is at or below Reorder at (E): order the gap up to Restock to (F),
and never less than 0. Otherwise: 0.
“Never below 0” matters: with pre-orders, a tracked product’s stock goes below zero (12 pre-orders leave -12) [5], and the gap grows to cover them. MAX(0, ...) stops the formula from ever ordering a negative number when you already hold more than the restock-to level. Sort by Supplier, filter Order above 0, and that is your list.
| Supplier | Product | On hand | Reorder at | Restock to | Order |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Acme Roasters | House blend 250 g | 4 | 27 | 45 | 41 |
| Acme Roasters | Decaf 250 g | 30 | 27 | 45 | 0 (not low) |
| Blue Pottery | Mug, white | 0 | 6 | 12 | 12 |
| Blue Pottery | Mug, blue (variant) | -3 (pre-orders) | 6 | 12 | 15 |
Step 4: the memo you send
Group the rows by supplier and send each supplier only its part. Plain text works:
Supplier: Acme Roasters
House blend 250 g: 4 in stock (reorder at 27) -> order 41 (41 = 45 - 4)
Supplier: Blue Pottery
Mug, white: 0 in stock (reorder at 6) -> order 12 (12 = 12 - 0)
Mug, blue: -3 in stock (reorder at 6) -> order 15 (15 = 12 - (-3))
Keep the working sheet and the export for yourself. Do not import the working sheet back into Wix: Wix marks blank cells in the inventory column as OUT_OF_STOCK on import, and values are case sensitive [2]. If you do want to update stock in bulk, use the Inventory page, which takes up to 300 products or variants at a time [6].
Keep the list from going stale
A list built on Monday is wrong on Friday. Either repeat the export on a day you choose, or get told when a product reaches its number: see how to get low stock alerts in Wix Stores.
One option: our own app
The same list can be made inside Wix by Low Stock Alert (App Market listing) [7], which I make. Below is how it builds the list, as far as I have checked in the code and on the listing.
- You give a product or variant a supplier name (a name only, no address or phone) and a restock to number. You can also set one restock-to for all products.
- The order note lists the products that are low, grouped by supplier, with order = restock-to minus stock now, never below 0. A product with no restock-to number gets no order number; the app does not invent one.
- You can copy the note or save it as a CSV named like
restock-order-2026-10-18.csv, with the columns Supplier, Product, Product ID, Variant ID, In stock, Threshold, Restock to and Order. - The order note is on the free plan. Pro ($2.99 a month, 14-day free trial) adds category thresholds and weekly and monthly summaries.
- The app does not forecast days until a product runs out, and does not email.

Questions
Does Wix have a reorder report?
Not a reorder list. Wix Analytics has a Low Inventory report for items expected to run out within 14 days and an Inventory Planning report, and Wix says reports can be exported.
How do I get inventory levels out of Wix?
Store Products, More Actions, then Import, then Export Products gives a CSV of up to 5,000 rows, with the inventory amount and a separate row for each variant.
What is a reorder point?
The stock level that triggers an order: normal use during the supplier’s lead time plus a safety stock.
Can I import my restock sheet back into Wix?
Do not. Wix marks blank inventory cells as OUT_OF_STOCK on import, and the values are case sensitive. Keep the order sheet separate from any file you import.
What should I do with products that have no stock number?
Products set only to In Stock or Out of Stock have no quantity. Reorder them by hand, or turn on quantity tracking.
What I have not verified
I checked the Wix claims on this page against Wix’s own Help Center articles on 2026-10-18. I did not re-test every one of them on a live store, and Wix can change how its features work.
The reorder-point formula is a general inventory rule, not something Wix defines, and the worked numbers are an example, not advice for your shop. I did not export a real store while writing this: the Wix export steps and the inventory column come from Wix’s Help articles. For the app, the order note and CSV follow its code (v14.1) and I have not run the CSV through every spreadsheet program.
